CINECULTURE FILM SERIES

Oct. 31: Filipino Americans: Discovering their past for the
future (1994) 54 min. Director: John Wehman. This documentary reveals
hidden pages in American history, chronicling the 400-year-old history
of Filipinos in the United States, ranging from Hawai’ian plantations,
California migrant farms, Alaskan fish canneries, Louisiana shrimp
fishing, to World War II and the labor movement.
