“How and When Does Learning Best Occur: Characteristics of Engaged Learners in the Arts and Humanities”

Research has shown that students who are engaged in the learning process take charge of their own learning, are inspired and take pleasure in learning, are creative learners making connections at different levels, and are collaborative learners valuing the social dimension of learning. We will look at the diverse range of disciplines in the arts and humanities and discuss some of the best practices for developing an engaged learning community in and outside of the classroom.

Please join us for a collegial and engaging conversation on teaching and learning!

Refreshments will be served
